Well Roots Testosterone Support

Ethically correct, technically lacking.

Who is this article aimed at?
Anyone interested in the promising looking Well Roots Testosterone Support. Looks great, but we examine it in detail to see if it's quality or just quality marketing. Formula, price, company, everything you need to know.
I am busy - summarize it for me

Only two serious T boosters and one of those has been disproved. The rest of the formula is dedicated to improving blood flow and libido. Almost more of a nitric oxide booster than a testosterone supplent. It's missing a whole lot and there are much better brands out there.

Well Roots Testosterone Support Review

The safest and best way to raise your T is naturally and no brand says natural like Well Roots Testosterone Support. With a bottle that’s all greens, leaves and trees the brand make their approach to raising your T and libido pretty obvious.

It’s a great attitude, but Mother Nature offers plenty of ingredients to choose from, some better than others. It’s all about making the right choices . So the question is, Well Roots Testosterone Support may be natural, but does it have natural talent?

Well Roots Tesosterone Booster

We’re disappointed to see that Well Roots Testosterone Support uses a proprietary blend. This means all the ingredients are in a mix and we’re only given names and total volume.

Separate dosages can make all the difference, so hiding them loses some of the trust their organic looking packaging earns. Let’s check it out anyway.

How Does It Work?

At a Glance

  • Zinc and (supposedly) Tribulus Terrestris to help testosterone
  • L-Arginine, L-Citrulline and CoQ10 to increase blood flow
  • Tongkat Ali and Asian Ginseng to boost libido T
  • Beta Sitosterols to raise free testosterone

We’ll explore these choices in more detail after we’ve had a look at those overall scores

The Scores

Ingredients
4/10

Once you forget about the useless tribulus, there’s only really zinc here as a real solid T booster.  Beta sitosterol could help if we were clear on how much is used, but the rest of the formula focuses on blood flow and libido.  That’s fine, but those things are just symptoms of low T.  If you say you’re going to support testosterone that should be your main goal.  Add a poor serving schedule and no estrogen control and we’re pretty unimpressed.

Price
5/10

Well Roots Testosterone Support is available for under $30, which is pretty reasonable for a booster.  If it wasn’t for the formula problems and mixed reviews it might be be worth a try.  As it is though, there’s far better options to spend that money on.

Trustworthiness
6/10

No safety worries.  It’s manufactured in the U.S and therefore complies with the regulations that requires.  There are issues with the use of proprietary blends and not revealing doses however.  Also presenting some of these ingredients as a direct boost to your T is misleading.

Testimonials
4/10

No testimonial section on the official site so just the reviews on sites Amazon to go on.  These are not always the most helpful as they vary in detail and trustworthiness.  Worse still the actual feedback is very mixed.  Some say they feel an improvement, but just as many report no results and many complain about the size of capsule.

Company
8/10

Well Roots have a range about 12 products, including a fat burner, sleep aid and multivitamin.  To their credit they work with charity to make sure poor kids get supplements to keep them healthy.  Either cash from your purchase will go towards helping with this or there is a buy one/donate one option.  This shows their heart is in the right place, even if a few ingredients aren’t.

How Do I Take It?

Users should take 1 serving of 2 capsules a day with water.

This is not the best.  The most sucessful booters settle on 3-4 servings a day evenly spaced out. This will keep the formula topped up and working. Just 1 serving to last 24 hours means any benefits will drop off after a time.

Well Roots Side Effects?

No reported side effects so far with this formula and we wouldn’t expect any.

Where Can I Get Well Roots Testosterone Support?

Well Roots Testosterone Ingredients – In Detail

Zinc

Zinc is brilliant for our testosterone.  Many guys with clinically low T also have poor levels of zinc, which isn’t a coincidence.  The mineral helps several important components for strong T.  Luteinizing Hormone, Follicle Stimulating Hormone and Human Growth hormone all rely on a strong supply. We’re told 30mg worth is here. Solid amount.

Copper

Copper doesn’t do much for T but too much zinc can cause copper deficiency.  Probably here to protect against that, but with zinc within normal tolerance levels, it seems pointless.

Tribulus Extract

Tribulus was once thought to be a great T booster, but clinical trials have ruined its cred. It’s proven to do nothing for us except raise libido slightly. Thanks to the blend we don’t know exactly how big a waste we’re dealing with here.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15994038

L-Arginine

No real effect on T, but pretty good when it comes to boosting nitric oxide in the body for stronger blood flow.  The advantages there are more energy and better erections.  The problem with L-Arginine however is it’s not easily absorbed so supplementation has limited success.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9809945

L-Citrulline

L-Citrulline is what’s produced once L-Arginine is processed by the liver.  In theory we should get the benefits mentioned above then.  However we’re unclear on the amount used and successful studies tend to use more than Well Roots’ whole formula.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20499249

Tongkat Ali

Some studies show a slight increase in T with this choice, but where it’s more helpful is boosting libido.  This is one of the things we’re promised from this product but with a question mark over dose it’s not guaranteed.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23243445

Asian Ginseng

In the right volume Asian ginseng (not American ginseng) can help both nitric oxide and libido. We’ve no idea how much help it will be in this case though.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12076988

Beta Sitosterols

Found in things like stinging nettle.  Can lower the protein Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, which ties itself to T and makes unusable.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/7702715

CoQ10

One study showed 300mg of this enzyme improves errections in obese men suffering from Peyronie’s Disease. It may do the same in the right dose here, but effects in healthy men are less proven.

Anything Missing

Apart from the point of a T booster, Well Roots Testosterone Support also has no estrogen control. Estogen rises as we age, pushing T on the other side of the balance down. By contoling female hormone, T gets a boost.

Overall

Well Roots are a company trying to do the right thing ethically, but with this booster they get it wrong technically.  The T boosters are poorly chosen and there’s too much attention on libido.  Far better options are out there.
