Z-Force Review

Z-Force by Dymatize might sound a dance music smash aiming to be the club land sound of the summer. But in fact it’s a natural T booster, aiming to improve physical performance.

It does this by claiming to:

  • Provide anabolic and antioxidant support
  • Improve restful sleep and recovery
  • Increase testosterone
  • Promote muscle strength

Those benefits are something we can all use, lack of sleep is a major factor in low T so Z-Force might be on to something.

Dymatize Z-Force

The question is can it deliver? Well there’s only one way to find out and that’s by taking a look at the formula, so let’s get into it.

How Does It Work?

At a Glance

  • Zinc and magnesium to support T & aid sleep
  • Vitamin B6 to reduce estrogen
  • Vitamin C & E for antioxidants

Looks a little light there. Will this formula be enough? We’ll take a closer look after the scores scores …

The Scores

The Scores
Ingredients
5/10

Z-Force by Dymatize is basically a multivitamin and mineral formula. All 5 ingredients are vitamins and minerals. That may sound good, there are some useful ones here and it ensures the formula is natural but overall it leaves the formula incomplete.

We need a combination of vitamins, minerals, and natural herbs to maximize T and anabolic activity in your body. It even misses out one vitamin D out completely, arguably the most important vitamin for raising male hormone.

So while there’s a good foundation here, the job is only half done.

Price
8/10

Like everything in life, we suppose Z-Force is about perspective. It depends how you want to view it. At a little over $10, this supplement is either an extremely cheap T booster or quite an expensive and incomplete multivitamin.

There’s so much missing from what we’d expect form a complete booster, we have to say it’s the latter. For a bit more money you can get a lot more quality. A few vitamins and minerals helpful to our hormones aren’t enough to offer value.

Trustworthiness
5/10

Again I guess it’s down to how forgiving you want to be here. Certainly all these vitamins and minerals have undisputed benefits. The question is, is it right for a product like Z-Force to present itself as adequate T support?

It’s not just the marketing we’re unsure about. Both zinc and magnesium – though great picks when done right – are overdosed here. It’s difficult to really let your guard down with a product when there’s a real chance of side effects.

Testimonials
5/10

There aren’t any Z-Force testimonials really. Just customer reviews on retail sites like Amazon which don’t offer nearly the kind of detail you should be looking for.

Even these reviews are pretty mixed with plenty of users feeling little or no change after using the supplement. Even those who give it credit are typically stacking it with other products so it’s hard to say how much of it is down to Z-Force.

Company
9/10

Dymatize are a U.S company, based in Dallas who have been on the go since 1994. They have a wide array of supplements to their name, a high profile and are generally well thought of as a business. No big scandals or concerns.

They were Bodybuilding.com’s company of the month in April 2019, featuring an interview with the founder.

How Do I Take It?

Z-Force by Dymatize uses 1 serving of 3 capsules per day. Ideally, you should take 3 capsules of this supplement before going to bed. Women take 2 capsules while applying the same rules.

However, although the instructions read that you should take this product on an empty stomach, we have to say this isn’t the smartest idea. This is primarily due to zinc that’s in the supplement. Which can cause a stomach upset if you take it on an empty stomach.

A much better idea are supplements which divide use into 3 servings throughout the day. Not only this easier on your body it also keeps active ingredients working evenly for as long as you need them

Any Z-Force Side Effects?

Z-Force by Dymatize uses a high dose of zinc, which can cause negative side effects in some people. These include;

  • Stomach upset and pain
  • Diarrhea
  • Nausea
  • Restlessness

You don’t want to take more than 10mg of zinc all at once; Z-Force has three times that amount.

Too much magnesium in the long term can cause:

  • Low blood pressure
  • Irregular heartbeat
  • Confusion

Where Can I Get It?

Ingredients – In Detail

Vitamin C

A powerful natural antioxidant with an indirect role in T production. However, most of us already get plenty of Vitamin C from diet, it’s almost impossible to be deficient in it in fact, which is the only time we recieve the benefit taking extra.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/12569111

Vitamin E

Another powerful antioxidant, but unlike Vitamin C, Vitamin E is fat-soluble, which means you have to take it with a meal to work.

Since the instructions of Z-Force read that you should take it on an empty stomach, this makes no sense as you need a fat source for some of it to be absorbed readily.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2040110/

Vitamin B6

Fortunately, Vitamin B6 is water soluble, which means it won’t be wasted like other ingredients in this product, when you take them with water.

In terms of the benefits that this vitamin offers, they include cognitive function. Of course there’s also it’s ability to regulate estrogen, keeping T the dominant sex hormone in our system.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/6727359

Magnesium

Like other vitamins and minerals, magnesium has a range of health benefits. As far as anabolic support goes, it’s main help comes in limiting SHBG. Sex Hormone Binding Globulin is a protein which can attach to T making it unusable.

The problem here might be with dose. Typically the high end daily limit for magnesium intake is 420mg, Z-Force however gives 450mg in one go.

Zinc

Another key mineral for T production. For example, growth hormone, folicle-stimulating hormone and lutenizing hormone are building blocks which rely on the mineral. Zinc is also important for your immune function and antioxidant activity in the body, among other functions

But while it’s a great addition in Z-Force, it comes in a high single dose of 30mg. This is not more than our bodies can process but is possibly too much for one serving and may cause stomach pains and diarrhea, among other side effects.

Anything Missing?

Vitamin D is probably the main no-show. But there also plenty of herbs which are proven to boost T as well as help rest and recovery, all absent from Z-Force.

Overall

So, does Z-Force by Dymatize deliver? Not for us. Whatever it is, ZMA supplement, T booster, sleep aid, it’s a product missing a lot. Not just in terms of ingredients, which may have helped, but it also misses the mark on the amounts of what is here.

It may be cheap then, but in terms of value and results there are much better all-round options out there. Options which will do everything Z-Force promises and more.
