Cell Block 80

Science Fiction or Fact?

tl; dr ... Short and to the Point
Who is this article aimed at?
Any vegans looking to support their workout schedule and boost their T without messing up their diet.
I am busy - summarize it for me

Cell Block 80 is frustrating in that it's not as good as it should be and it has nothing to do with the limitations placed in it by veganism. In saying that though, it's not totally awful so in this review we look at if it's got enough to boost your T without messing up your lifestyle choice.

Cell Block 80 Review

Gone are the days of the weak, wet noodle limbed, knock them over with a sneeze vegan stereotype. These days smart nutrition choices means vegans can hang with the best in the gym.

You don’t have to put meat on your plate to put meat on your bones.

What can still be tricky for vegans however, is getting the same supplement support for their fitness regime as meat eaters. If it’s not the ingredients themselves that violate dietary choices it can be gelatine in the capsules.

That’s where Cell Block 80 from Clean Machine comes in. It may sound like a futuristic space prison, but in fact it’s a natural veg and animal free T booster.

Cell Block 80

To be fair though, Clean Machine aren’t resting on vegan friendly as a selling point. It claims Cell Block 80 also promises to:

  • Increase free testosterone
  • Promote prostate health
  • Block estrogen
  • Limit DHT

At least on paper that shows more of an understanding than a lot of boosters. Not just boosting T, but clearing the way of a lot of things which inhibit it. We’ll see how well it plays in practice during this review.

Speaking of paper, happily all the ingredients and their dosages are right there on the label. Sounds obvious, but a lot of brands still refuse to do it. Basically, no proprietary blends, no problem.

How Does It Work?

At a Glance

  • Prickly pear to block DHT & estrogen
  • Ashwagandha to help endurance
  • Nettle to lower SHBG & promote a healthy prostate
  • Boron to stimulate T & regulate estrogen

Plenty to get stuck into there, after the scores ….

Ingredients
5/10

I’m not at all convinced by prickly pear, which is arguably the main attraction here. The research just isn’t there to back it up. That means you’re really just left with a couple of good ingredients, but ones normally considered solid support players rather than the main act. Things like nettle and ashwagandha.

There’s no real standout choice to get your male hormone going. Boron is great but it needs support from some proven performers such as vitamin D3, zinc and magnesium if it’s going to compete with some of the best beefier boosters out there.

Price
4/10

Vegans out there will know that their diet isn’t always the cheapest. Well in this case, the same goes for a vegan supplement. At $70, Cell Block 80 is going head to head with some of the best brands on the market.

Trouble is, with this current formula, it can’t really hold its own.

If this turns out to be the best vegan supplement available – which is highly doubtful – then obviously you’re stuck with it. Otherwise, it’s probably advisable to save that considerable cash for better.

Trustworthiness
8/10

With a company name like Clean Machine, the least you’d expect is for Cell Block 80 to be safe and hygienic in its production.

Sure enough it is. It’s made in line with cGMP regulations meaning that quality control is there and there’s no chance of off-label ingredients. There are no proprietary blends either.

Testimonials
7/10

There is a testimonial section on the Clean Machine website, which is great but it doesn’t quite have the in-depth detail we look for. It contains feedback either sent directly or drawn from around the web, on social media etc. Some give full names, some first and an initial, some write a lot, some a little, some post photos and others don’t.

It’s better than just retail reviews but only in some cases. Speaking of those reviews, they are generally positive on places like Amazon, with a 4 out of 5 based on the thoughts of just over 30 users. That’s nice and all, but don’t put a massive amount of stock in it.

Company
8/10

The Clean Machine website may be no frills in terms of presentation, but as far as content it’s actually very interesting. Based in the U.S and still a relatively new outfit, alongside the usual product section, there’s others such as Science, Media, Celebrity Fans, Team Clean Machine.

They only have 3 products at the moment, but thanks to the extensive company background info, safe to say this isn’t a sign of any kind of scam. A brand to keep an eye on in the future.

How Do I Take It?

You should take one capsule in the morning with a meal and water then repeat in the evening. Unless you’re over 200lbs, in which case add another serving at midday.

Wait a minute though. Why to the bigguns get to have all the fun? 3 servings a day is better than 2 for anyone, because it keeps ingredients topped up and working for longer, with less chance of drop off

Any Cell Block 80 Side Effects?

Honestly we can’t see anything here that should cause you problems.

Where Can I Get It?

You’ll find a one month supply of Cell Block 80 at the Clean Machine website for $69.99

Ingredients – In Detail

Prickly Pear

Prickly pear

There are a couple of questions to ask about prickly pear. Firstly does it do what the makers claim? Second do you actually want it to? Cell Blocker 80 tells us it’s included to block estrogen and DHT. The first one’s fine as the more female hormone you have, the less male.

But DHT can serve a purpose. Yes it’s been linked to hair loss, but it also may suppress estrogen and maintain prostate health; two goals of this very supplement.

To be honest though there’s not a lot of evidence that it does either of these things. It’s more proven from an antioxidant and balancing blood glucose point of view. That can help to support T but has no direct effect. Just 85mg on offer also.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is definitely a useful choice. In very high levels it has some effect boosting T, but at the 125mg level we’ve got here that’s not happening. It might still function as an adaptogen however, cutting cortisol and allowing the body to cope with stress better.

That includes the physical stress of exercise so there’s the possibility of longer workouts.

Nettle Root

Nettle Root Extract

In the right dose, stinging nettle could have a number of benefits. Firstly the beta sitosterol it can help to lower your sex hormone binding globulin count which ties to T and stops it working, freeing more up.

Add to that the fact that although it doesn’t actually affect prostate size, it can reduce the symptoms of an enlarged prostate, so is still helpful. Would have been nice to see a bit more than 50mg though.

Boron

Boron

Boron is actually a really great mineral for natural boosters. Studies show it can simultaneously raise T and lower estrogen, which is exactly the balance we’re after. What’s more it can do it with as little as the 5mg here.

Anything Missing?

We understand vegan requirements might tie Cell Block 80’s hands on a couple of ingredients, but not zinc, magnesium, or vitamin D3. Where are they? We’re pretty sure vitamin B6, for blocking estrogen is okay for vegans too, it would have made a useful contribution.

Overall

Like I said at the start, vegan doesn’t equal delicate anymore so I’m not about to go easy on this Cell Block 80. Ultimately, it’s not that impressive.

A formula that doesn’t always convince being paired with a price that takes some convincing. Most of what’s here isn’t bad but it’s missing a lot and needs fleshed out (not literally). There are a few nice touches and nothing truly terrible, but it lacks the solid foundation of a really effective booster.
