You might think the only way to keep your testosterone levels up after 30 is controversial treatments like TRT. In fact natural T boosters can be an effective way of staying in prime shape as you age. Iridium Series Super Male Ti is one of the latest to hit the market
From supplement company Performix, at first glance Iridium Series Super Male Ti looks like your standard booster. There’s nothing wildly original about the aims, better strength, energy and libido.
But that’s what you want, if it can deliver we’re not complaining. What’s not so standard is the price. This product goes for a whopping $169.99! (I genuinely spat out my coffee when I first saw that price tag.) Performix are setting themselves an incredibly high bar to justify that.
As if they didn’t get our backs up enough already with the price, they also hide a lot of ingredients inside a proprietary blend. This means no individual doses given for most of the formula. A detailed review is difficult but we can still learn a lot.
Much to explore then, right after the all important scores
There’s hints of a good booster here. D3 is a smart move, but there’s nowhere enough to make an impact. B6 is important to help control estrogen and there’s a solid amount of great minerals like zinc. Then we’re into the blend and useful things like fenugreek and ashwaghanda have question marks over their amounts and are having to share unknown space with poorer choices.
There’s no justification for charging this for a booster. It’s ridiculous. The best options we’ve seen retail around for less than half that. Frankly if Iridium Series Super Male Ti gave the power of flight we’d have to think twice at this price.
Even though there’s nothing dangerous about Iridium Series Super Male Ti charging well over $100 for a pretty unimpressive formula, which they won’t even give us all the info about doesn’t exactly inspire trust.
No testimonial section on the Performix website so just customer feedback on retail sites to go on. These usually lack detail, but at least they’re something. This is sold on Bodybuilding.com so there should be plenty, right? Well no actually if has 5 out of 10 based on just 2 reviews. Both guys who can afford this say the price is way too high and improvements are way too low
Performix is a successful supplement company who aim to outperform every other booster on the market. Well they’ve certainly outpriced everyone else. If not for the ridiculous price, we’d say they actually have pretty impressive set up with an extensive range of other products under their banner.
Users should take one serving of 3 capsules a day with 8 ounces of water.
Weirdly specific on the water there. Also in our opinion pretty wide of the mark as a serving schedule. If those 3 caps were split into unique servings this would help to keep active ingredients working evenly through the day. 1 serving can’t sustain you for 24hrs.
3-4 servings are ideal for best results.
Apart from lasting damage to your bank account, we’ve no real worries on the side effects front.
Customers can find Iridium Series Super Male Ti at Bodybuilding.com for $169.99. Believe it or not that’s the best price we could find and we’ve seen it as high as $299.
We know that vitamin D has a great effect on T because we get it mainly sunlight and hormone levels tend to spike in summer. We can’t all rely on year round good weather though, so supplements are helpful. Sadly studies show you need at least 3000IUs to get T moving and here we only have half that.
As guys age and T drops, the female hormone estrogen starts to rise. B6 works on the brain to reduce production an influence of estrogen. This helps to tip the balance back the right way, in favour of T. 7.5mg is a solid amount too.
Zinc is really important for T and it can be difficult to get enough from diet. It boosts creation of the key building blocks for healthy male hormone like luteinizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone and human growth hormone. Too much zinc can cause side effects but 30mg should be fine.
From here on out we’re into the 1,181mg of Performix Iridium Super TiMale Performance Complex. No dosages for you, person who will actually be taking the thing.
Not altogether a bad choice. Some studies do show it can increase stamina and energy allowing you to exercise for longer. It doesn’t do much to boost T, but may help to improve physical performance the old fashioned way. Assuming there’s enough in here of course.
This is known by a few names, including Longjack. Studies show it can have T boosting success if returning someone with clinically low levels to normal. If you’re looking to push past this however towards your natural peak, it’s not much help. For this reason 400mg seems a little heavy. It may benefit sex drive though, which is a bonus.
Again, libido boosting is Macas main area of expertise. It may also help you to achieve stronger erections according to some studies. Not much in the way of direct T boosting though. So 250mg could’ve been better used.
Another choice that may help sexual performance and mood but does little or nothing to help actual T. Can be a nice cherry on top of a formula if there’s already been plenty of direct hormone boosters. Here however it just seems like more waste.
There’s a few benefits that come with fenugreek. Not only is it an aphrodisiac which gets important androgens flowing for T, it helps to regulate blood sugars. This is key as that in turn helps to balance insulin, which if unbalanced hurts your male hormone levels.
A kind of mushroom used in Chinese traditional medicine for all manner of health complaints. Now it’s thought to have some anti-inflammatory and anti-aging properties. The effect on hormones is still pretty up in the air with some rat studies even showing they increase estrogen.
DIM is a nutrient found in green leafy veg which some studies have found can help to limit estrogen. This isn’t our favourite ingredient because in other doses it can actually increase the female hormone. And since we have no amount here it’s a toss up what this will do.
Munica Pruriens are a good choice as they contain the amino acid L-DOPA this not only stimulates T but also cuts cortisol, the stress hormone. Lowering cortisol not only stops it blocking your male hormone but also improves your mood. It’s just a pity we’re unclear on dose, which is frustrating
There’s no D-Aspartic acid in here which is an absolute must for a quality booster. It’s also missing a lot of things that would help free T levels (the amount in your body you can actually use) like magnesium.
There’s getting ripped then there;s just getting ripped off. Iridium Series Super Male Ti can’t match some of the budget boosters, never mind the market leaders. So unless you’ve got money to burn, save your money for the many better options out there.
