Boss are fast becoming the go-to for premium product exercise guides and they don’t disappoint here. It’s a million miles away from some of the badly designed, poorly constructed workout guides we’ve seen before.

Much like its sister product, Boss Lean Mass, we’ve got expert and authoritative trainer Jason Sani at the wheel, ripped as ever, wearing his jacked physique and 8% body fat with confidence in his own knowledge and abilities.
Jason has a wealth of experience, having trained hundreds of clients over his 10 year career. He’s also an expert culinary nutritionist too, with an enthusiastic and rigorous approach.
This is a guy that knows his craft and doesn’t mind letting you know.
Boss Shred is an explosive, well-structured 12-week program that covers all of the essentials of fat melting fitness. The aim of Boss Shred is to achieve:

The program is constructed in a way that helps you achieve your goals in double time. There are a number of training techniques and protocols used throughout this program, and it’d
be a pretty long review to detail all of them for you. But the main systems used by Jason in Shred include:
High intensity resistance training – strength-based circuits designed to target fast fat burning
High intensity interval training – short and sharp cardio sessions aimed at high-end fitness and conditioning
What we like about the structure of Boss Shred is that it’s flexible. Jason suggests you can use the program for a mini-cut of 2 weeks, or go for an all-out transformation in 12 weeks.
The program is built around a 4-days-per-week approach, with your workouts cycled into 2-week phases, each with a different focus.
The first one has a big emphasis on strength and fat loss, whereas phase 2 strips back the load and smashes you around the face with high-volume muscle conditioning workouts.
You’ll find superset, giant sets, pyramids and all kinds of pretty brutal protocols in each phase. They’re well positioned against standard muscle building and fat-torching exercises.
“If you start to feel like you’re close to failure, gassing out in the middle of this, drop the weight and keep moving” he tells you, as you go knee deep into a tough drop set.
Audience
Boss Shred suits anyone that isn’t afraid to grit their teeth and work hard for their new physique. If you’re not motivated and willing to put the effort in you might as well go with a poorly-written free guide at the bottom of a mediocre fitness websites.
If you’re fit, healthy and injury free then you fit the bill. If you already go to the gym on a regular basis then this is your best opportunity yet to carve our that six pack, etch some muscle mass and develop pro-athlete conditioning.
The first thing that jumps out here is the absolute volume of supporting material. The guides, videos and nutrition information leave little to chance. You really can’t fail if you are determined.
The educational resources that come with the video and digital app are pretty much worth the cost of Boss Shred on their own. They’re detailed, comprehensive and use bullet-proof scientific principles. The fast pace of Shred means you’re unlikely to get bored, The turbocharged training systems will keep you focused on fat loss and there’s no ‘fluff’ either – the kind of filler exercises that are in there just to add ‘perceived value’.
One thing we really like is that Boss Shred also includes alternative plans for if your gym is busy or you don’t have the equipment. You’re pretty much getting 3 programs at once.
All in all this is a great job by Boss. A solid and comprehensive product that will motivate, educate and above all else… get you lean and muscular.
Negatives
It’s tough – this is an intense program that might not suit you if you’re the kind of person who just doesn’t like to roll up their sleeves and get dirty.
It’s not cheap – this is more expensive than other workout guides on the market. But you certainly get what you pay for in this case.
Android and iOS Apps
Weirdly they don’t make much play of the fact you there are native android and iOS apps which let you work through your program easily on your phone or tablet. They are free to download from Google Play and the iOS store;
Conclusion
If you look at the list of what you are getting and then compare it to what you’d get from two sessions with a personal trainer (the same cost), then there really is no comparison.
It’s lifetime access as well, so you can always come back to it. This package is currently leading the market, if an online fat loss program comes along which can beat this, we will be very impressed.
