Warbringer Review

With the booster market as crowded as it is these days, it’s understandable that some supplements have a bit of a problem standing out from the crowd. Not Dynamik Muscles’ Warbringer though, for better or worse it certainly grabs the attention.

Be it the aggressive name or the fact that 2016 Arnold Classic winning bodybuilder, Kai Greene has his image and name all over this brand, it’s a product that tends to stick in the mind.

The big man’s presence certainly lends (considerable) weight to the claims of ‘oversized hulking gains’, mood elevation and testosterone support, but it’s never good to go on endorsements alone.

The real proof of the pudding, as always, is in the reviewin’.

Warbringer

How Does Warbringer Work?

Straight away respect is due to this product for shunning the ridiculous proprietary blend system and disclosing all ingredients with their own specific dose. This might be Greene’s influence, we know those bodybuilding lads have no problem revealing plenty. Whatever the reason, it gives us the opportunity to do a properly thorough review and we plan to take full advantage.

The Scores

The Scores
Ingredients
6/10

Warbringer strikes us as a booster headed in the right direction, but still needs a few tweaks. No proprietary blends mean we know the fenugreek is spot on, but the vitamin D3 definitely needs strengthened, ideally at the expense of duds like trib and at least cutting back on byrovirion. Ashwaganda and DIM have plenty of promise however.

Price
7/10

It is priced solidly mid-range and we would say that’s about right. However it’s still a lot of cash to ask for a supplement that isn’t quite the finished article.

Trustworthiness
8/10

Kai Greene has a literally huge public profile so with his reputation on the line you can bet those supplements are going to be produced right. We do take issue with presenting Tribulus Terrestris as at all worthwhile because the research just isn’t there.

Testimonials
6/10

Testimonials of this product mainly take the form of reviews on retail sites where it is sold. These are positive but lacking detail and pretty unhelpful as a first time buyer’s guide. In fact several of the ‘reviews’ on Bodybuilding.com give a score and nothing else. Half the story, half the marks.

Company
8/10

As of this review Dynamic Muscle has only been operational since last year and so far only has a limited range of four supplements. Again with Greene’s reputation on the line we don’t expect any major problems with this company and will watch with interest as it grows. Worth noting though that the company’s 30 day money back guarantee only applies to unopened purchases.

How Do I Take It?

Warbringer recommends you take 4 capsules a day, constituting 1 serving only. This is far from ideal. There’s a reason why all the best supplements space 3 or 4 servings out across a day; it keeps those key ingredients working consistently for you and eliminates any possibility of performance dipping as the hours wear on.

Warbringer Side Effects?

No need to worry about side effects in this case, none of these ingredients are likely to cause any issues.

Where Can I Get The Product?

Warbringer is available from Bodybuilding.com for just under $40 and from MuscleRage in the U.K for just under £35.

TestoFuel Ingredients – In Detail

vitamin-d3-thumb

Vitamin D

is a great start. It’s naturally stimulated by exposure to sunlight and causes testosterone levels to rocket as evidenced by significant seasonal fluctuations in hormone levels. Supplementation is a great idea to keep you at your peak all year round, but in this case the 1500IUs is only half the dose clinically proven to be effective.

Byrovirion
A traditional fertility treatment used in Ayurvedic medicine, studies have shown the herb has promise as far as firing the libido. However human trials are scarce and we would question whether positive rat based research is enough of a basis to justify a whopping 1.5g of this ingredient.

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus Terrestris

– was once championed as a great natural testosterone booster, but subsequent studies have pretty conclusively ruled this out. Survives now on its unjustified reputation and a slight increase of sex drive in some cases. 600mg on this component is a straight up waste.

fenugreek-thumb

Fenugreek

– is beneficial to your male hormone levels in a few ways. It has long been known to be great for the libido, but crucially it also helps control blood sugars, in turn helping to effectively regulate insulin, which if left unchecked can severely hurt health testosterone production. It has also been seen to limit SHBG activity, which can tie testosterone up leaving it dormant in your system. 500mg is a spot on amount as one 12 week study of men aged 35-65 given that dose reportedly saw 90% of them increase their free testosterone.

Ashwaganda

Ashwagandha

– This nutrient has a solid scientific track record in cutting levels of cortisol, the stress hormone, in the system. This is important because cortisol works directly against testosterone, limiting production and effects. It may also serve to actively boost male hormone, but this is less firmly established. Useful nonetheless.

DIM

Diindolylmethane

– This nutrient, found in food sources like broccoli has demonstrated in clinical trials anti-oestrogen properties, which strengthens testosterone output. However far from being an out and out aromatase inhibitor, at certain levels DIM can have the opposite effect, increasing the female hormone and making it technically an aromatase modulator. This is a great example of why it’s important to know the dose of each component.

A 2011 study showed oestrogen to be reduced by 300mg supplementation, slightly above 250mg Warbringer’s volume, so at least we can say it won’t send you the wrong way.

piperine

Bioperine

– Here to help absorption of active ingredients only.

Overall

While Warbringer certainly isn’t as impressive as its founder, it’s far from terrible. There are the beginnings of a good booster here, they just need to rethink the formula a bit, because however Kai Greene got to where he is today, we can tell you Trib had nothing to do with it.
