If you're worried about dropping performance as you age a booster like Natrogix Ultra Test with its low price might be tempting. Low price doesn't always equal value for money though. Check out this review to find out if it's worth your time.
I am busy - summarize it for me

A strong start with good amounts of zinc and magnesium quickly comes of the rails. Some outdated and weird choices. You really get what you pay for here, and that's not much. A ZMA supplement with a few aprodisacs thrown in is basically what we're looking at here.

Natrogix Ultra Test Review

The bad news is as early as 30 your testosterone can be in decline, reducing your performance and quality of life. The good news is a natural T boosting supplement can be a great way to reverse the drop. This news is whether Natrogix Ultra Test is the right product to do that.

Natrogix Ultra Test

All the marketing boxes are ticked. Greater strength, sex drive and endurance. Brilliant, but there aren’t many booster out there which aren’t saying all the right things; it’s the ones that can actually do the right things we’re interested in.

One plus straight away is we’ve no ridiculous proprietary blends to deal with. Every ingredient and its amount is on the label, as it should be. So let’s dive in and see what Natrogix Ultra Test has to offer.

How Does It Work?

At a Glance

  • Magnesium to help free testosterone
  • Zinc to support T creation
  • Tribulus Terrestris to apparently boost T
  • Chrysin supposedly also aids T
  • Lonjack & Horny Goat Weed to help sex drive and erection strength
  • Saw Palmetto to promote prostate health
  • Cissus Quadrangularis & Hawthorn berries to help joints

We’ll dive straight in and start breaking all of this down once we’ve dealt with the scores

The Scores

The Scores
Ingredients
4/10

Zinc and magnesium are solid t boosting choices, but after that we’ve got outdated things like tribulus , a few libido boosters and some ingredients to help your joints.  This is basically a ZMA supplement with a few bells and whistles hanging off it.  It’s missing so many things we’d look for in a quality booster, so it’s hard to give it a higher score.

Price
6/10

Despite Natrogix Ultra Test’s unconvincing formula, the $20 area is definitely cheap for a booster.  So if you’re on a budget and you feel your problems are mainly in the bedroom, it may be worth a shot.  For anyone looking for a more lasting, all round improvement though, don’t spend $20 plus a month on this, there are fare better options.

Trustworthiness
6/10

There’s nothing dangerous about Natrogix Ultra Test, it’s made in the U.S and GMP certified.  But we would argue that presenting yourself on the basis of zinc, magnesium and a lot of padding, is a little untrustworthy.

Testimonials
5/10

No testimonial section on the Natrogix website so once more unto the Amazon reviews dear friend.  Here it’s reviewed really well, with 4 out of 5 based on about 200 reviews.  That’s a little confusing to us as it doesn’t really square with the formula, or some of the independent user reviews we found on the web.  Amazon reviews aren’t known for their detail or at times honesty, so take these with a pinch of salt.

Company
8/10

We may take issue with Natrogix’s formula choices but there’s no faulting their professionalism.  Their website is full of background and assurances about the safety of their products.  The have pretty much every supplement conceivable to choose from in their huge range and off a money back guarantee if you’re not satisfied.

How Do I Take It?

Users should take 3 servings of one capsule a day with meals.

It’s a pity the formula isn’t better, because this is not half bad actually.  The idea serving schedule is about 3 or 4 spaced out evenly through the day to keep nutrients topped up.

Side Effects?

We wouldn’t expect any serious side effects from this formula, but it is worth mentioning that in rare cases, people can react badly to saw palmetto.

Dizziness, headaches, and an upset stomach are a few of the things sometimes reported.

Where Can I Get Natrogix Ultra Test?

Customers will find VirMax T at Amazon.com. 30 servings currently cost just under $19

Natrogix Ultra Test Ingredients – In Detail

Zinc

Another really important mineral for T, which is hard to get enough of from food.  Important building blocks for male hormone.  Lutenizing hormone, follicle stimulating hormone, and human growth hormone all need a healthy supply.  30mg is right in line with our daily tolerance, which is great.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16648789

Magnesium

Magnesium is a really strong start.  With up to 60% of our T being made unusable by the protein Sex Hormone Binding Globulin, you need something like magnesium to lower SHBG count.  That gives you more ‘free T’ for your body to use.  200mg is a solid dose too.

http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0731708508005955

Tribulus Terrestris

The wheels come off here after a strong start.  This plant was once thought to have great T boosting abilities, but all studies that have been done since have found it does nothing for the hormone.  It might have slight libido boosting qualities, but nothing like the effects plenty of products still claim.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17530942
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15994038

Chrysin

At least one study did show this was able to raise T, but only when directed straight into the testicles.  Unfortunately – or fortunately, depending on how squeamish you are – Natrogix Ultra Test doesn’t come with a syringe oral intake won’t be effective.  Relax, no male version of Uma Thurman in Pulp Fiction for you.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/14977449

Horny Goat Weed

Really doesn’t do much for your actual T levels but has been seen to help sex drive and possibly erection strength.  So not perfect but not entirely useless.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20141584

Longjack

Much the same story here.  Longjack may be able to return T to normal range if you have clinically low levels, but it you want your natural peak, research shows us it can’t help.  Again though it may have something to offer in the libido boosting department.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/20141584
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23243445

Saw Palmetto

This is another choice that misses the T mark but still may have a use. Saw palmetto shows it can be a great way to promote prostate health, something that is always important but is especially so as we age.

http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23210402

Cissus Quadrangulis

No real T boosting qualities here either, but because we’re feeling generous we’ll point out it has some benefits for weight loss and joint health in the older guy.  Still not really what we came for though.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/24113700

Hawthorne Berries

Another ingredient which helps joint health and has other fringe benefits but no real effect on T.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/21213407

Anything Missing?

There’s a lot missing here. D-Aspartic Acid is the most obvious, but things like vitamin D and boron are also AWOL.

Most suprising of all though is the lack of an anti-estrogen profile. As we age, the female hormone estrogen steps up production, pushing T further down.  Several natural ingredients, like vitamin B6 and luteolin, can lower estrogen and tip the balance back in favour of T.

So any of these are better choices than some of the more bizarre picks in Natrogix Ultra Test.

Overall

A disappointment.  If we wanted a ZMA supplement we’d just buy one of those and if we want a booster to really get our T back up and running, we’ll definitely go elsewhere.  So should you.
